COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Mike Testwuide’s first goal tied the game, and his second goal 2:58 into overtime gave Colorado College a 3-2 win over Alaska-Anchorage on Saturday night as the Tigers moved on in the WCHA playoffs.
Colorado College (28-9-1, 21-6-1 WCHA) defeated Alaska-Anchorage (7-21-8, 3-19-6) 4-1 in the first game of the best-of-three first-round playoff series Friday.
Testwuide had an assist on Colorado College’s other goal Saturday.
Jon Olthuis kept the Seawolves in the game with 27 saves. Richard Bachman stopped 18 shots for Colorado College.
Josh Lunden scored at 16:37 of the second period to give the Seawolves a 2-1 lead.
The Tigers outshot Alaska-Anchorage 14-5 in the third period, and Testwuide’s goal 5:54 into the period tied it before his winning goal in overtime.
