DENVER—A mother whose baby was found to have methamphetamine in his system has been charged with child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.
Denver prosecutors allege 27-year-old Katriece Trujillo was caring for her 3-month-old son when he ingested the drug late last month.
She remains in jail, with bond set at $50,000.
She is due in court Wednesday to be formally advised of the charge.
