The driver of a 2001 Dodge Durango was killed late last night when the sport utility vehicle skidded off road, hit a fence and rolled, the state patrol said in a release.
The SUV was southbound on Weld County Road 55 just south of Weld County Road 72 about 11:35 p.m. Saturday when the accident happened, the Colorado State Patrol said.
The driver, who was not identified in the release, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the SUV.
The CSP said that alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor.
