Longmont police have identified a man who allegedly used a fake gun to rob the 1st Stop convenience store earlier this month.
Matthew Swift, 19, had already been jailed because police alleged he was responsible for a similar robbery in Loveland.
Police believe he used similar fake guns in both robberies.
Longmont police developed a case against Swift while he was being held in the Larimer County Jail on the Loveland case.
