We thought drinking a glass of orange juice was the way to cover our vitamin C needs, until it was suggested we wear our daily dose. Tehama, the Lakewood-based golf wear company, has dipped some of its men’s polo shirts in a vitamin C solution and the resulting garments have a Ultraviolet Protection Factor of 30 and are soft to the touch. Tehama says the vitamin C in the shirts mixes with sebum released from the skin and is then absorbed into the body. The shirts, $72, are part of Tehama’s Green collection, which includes garments made from organic cotton, bamboo and other environmentally friendly fabrics. More at
