AURORA — Aurora police Wednesday released the identity of a man involved in a fistfight that proved fatal Sunday night.
Lionel James Bailey, 27, punched Elimu Penda Holiday, 31, causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement, police said. Holiday died at a local hospital Monday.
Bailey faces first-degree assault and manslaughter charges, according to Aurora police.
The fight happened about 5:20 p.m. Sunday. Police found Holiday unconscious in the street in the 8900 block of East Richtoffen Place. Joey Bunch, The Denver Post
