Barack Obama has named his campaign’s political director to represent him on the committee overseeing operations for the Democratic National Convention.
Obama’s campaign announced the new role for Matthew Nugen on Sunday. Nugen served as the chief liaison to elected officials, labor groups and political leaders. He is to arrive in Denver today.
