COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—Police arrested three people and issued citations to 73 others who allegedly showed up for a street race.

Most of the estimated 120 people who showed up Sunday morning were between 17 and 24 years old.

Two people were arrested for false reporting, while another was arrested for interference. Those cited face a misdemeanor count of aiding and facilitating a speed contest.

Denver police assisted Commerce City police who learned of the race from a tip.
