DENVER—One lane of westbound Interstate 70 in Elbert County is closed because of a hole that’s been found in an overpass.
The closure is four miles east of Deer Trail at the County Road 191 overpass.
Road crews are using concrete to repair the hole in the bridge’s deck. The righthand lane is expected to remain closed until sometime Friday.
The speed limit is reduced from to 55 miles per hour during the closure.
There are also delays on Interstate 25 about 20 miles north of Denver. Crews are doing emergency pothole repairs on the northbound side near exit 243.
