COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Authorities have arrested six people in an investigation into reports that drugs and guns were being sold from a Colorado Springs tattoo parlor.

Colorado Springs police say federal, county and city authorities seized marijuana and several dozen guns after an eight-month investigation during which undercover detectives bought firearms and marijuana from employees and associates at Shrap Metal Tattoo.

Arrested Thursday were Clayson Pearce, 27, Phillip McCall, 35, Ryan Middleton, 27, Jennifer McNeil, 32, Ralph McNeil, 39, and Benjamin Vanornum, 24.

Authorities say they also seized 74 firearms, including two machine guns, from the house of tattoo shop owner Shawn Jackson. Police say charges against Jackson are pending.
