Lone Tree police are investigating the report of a sex assault near the city’s library and pool.
A teenage girl called police at about 5:30 Monday evening to report that she had been assaulted in her car in the parking lot between the Lone Tree Library and Cook Creek Pool, police said in a news release.
She described her attacker as a “skinny,” short white man wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and a belt. He was in his mid-20s or early 30s, has “light facial hair” and body odor.
Police viewed video footage of the area and identified a person they want to talk to.
If you recognize the man pictured or have other information, call Detective Timothy Beals of the Lone Tree Police Department at 303-339-8174.
