A 57-year-old climber fell about 30 feet near Lily Lake on Saturday and was taken to Estes Park Medical Center.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s dispatch received a 911 call about the fall south of Estes Park about 1:42 p.m.
Some of the climber’s gear pulled out of a rock, and other climbers lowered him to an area where emergency workers could treat him, 9News reported
Larimer County sheriff’s deputies, Allenspark Fire Department, Rocky Mountain National Parks personnel, Larimer County Emergency Services and Larimer County Search and Rescue responded to the Lily Lake location on Highway 7, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
According to a physician on scene, the victim injured a hip.
