Charles Dean has been charged by indictment with one count of first- degree murder in the death of a 45-year-old man in 2004.
According to a statement Tuesday by the Denver district attorney’s office, Dean was friends with Timothy Ware, who was found dead in October 2004. Dean, 49, killed Ware in his home at 3350 Krameria St., disposed of the body, and then set the house on fire, according to the statement.
Dean was arrested Friday.
