A toddler was pulled from a hot tub this afternoon at an Adams County condominium complex and rushed to a local hospital. Investigators were searching the family’s home this evening.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded at about 12:30 p.m. to 8199 Welby Road in unincorporated Adams County, said Sgt. Candi Baker.
The 2-year-old boy was still being treated at a local hospital Tuesday evening, Baker said. His condition was not known.
The Sheriff’s Office said the child was found in the hot tub in the backyard of one of the units. The boy’s father had left him and a 2-year-old girl with a 28-year-old relative while he ran errands.
The incident is under investigation, Baker said. Police obtained a searched warrant and served it Tuesday night, she said.
She would not comment further on the investigation.
