COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Two Colorado Springs men suspected in the death of a man in New Jersey are being held without bond in Colorado Springs.
Police say 64-year-old William Marcucci was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a vehicle in New Jersey on May 20 in Saddle Brook.
Colorado Springs police said Wednesday that investigators suspect 40-year-old William Silvi and his 34-year-old brother-in-law, Daniel Tunks, planned the murder. They suspect Tunks traveled to New Jersey, lured Marcucci to a restaurant and then killed him, possibly for financial purposes.
Silvi and Tunks were arrested outside their home Tuesday morning in Colorado Springs. Online jail records did not indicate whether they had attorneys.
