Pueblo police have arrested a man they say delivered a punch that proved fatal outside a bar last week.
Adam Paul Martinez, 26, was arrested on suspicion of reckless manslaughter. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
Eugene Autry Clark, 30, died five days after he was punched in the head outside Andy McCarthy’s Sports Grill on Jerry Murphy Road in Pueblo on Aug. 20.
Clark was outside smoking a cigarette when three Hispanic men approached him. They argued and one of the men punched Clark, who fell unconscious.
He died of the head injury at Parkview Hospital on Monday, police said.
