The only panda born at a U.S. zoo this year was placed in an incubator Monday for closer monitoring at Zoo Atlanta. Officials said they wanted to more closely watch the tiny, hairless cub — the size of a stick of butter — based on the behavior of the cub, born Saturday, and its mother, Lun Lun. A spokeswoman had no more details but said the video feed for visitors has been suspended. The cub’s gender hasn’t been determined yet.
