Denver police are looking for a teenager suspected of shooting and killing another young man he had been fighting with near Curtis Park on Tuesday night.
“They were fighting, and he pulled a gun and shot him,” Denver police Detective Sharon Hahn said of the assailant.
Neighbors called police after gunfire erupted at 6:52 p.m., Hahn said.
Witnesses told them the gunman was between 16 and 18 years old and had multiple tattoos. Hahn was not sure of the suspect’s race.
The victim, who had not been identified, was rushed to Denver Health Medical Center, where he died.
