WESTMINSTER, Colo.—Westminster police have arrested a man suspected of pulling up to another vehicle at an intersection and shooting a man and woman inside.
Police say the victims were seriously injured in the shooting around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Another man in the victims’ vehicle identified the shooter as 30-year-old Michael Bohlen.
Officers arrested Bohlen after chasing the suspect’s vehicle onto Interstate 70 and then Interstate 76, into Weld County. Police say Bohlen then fled on foot but was arrested after a standoff in Lochbuie.
He was being held on a count of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault. He also is wanted in another jurisdiction. Details weren’t immediately available in that case.
