
Holiday concerts are starting to pile up around Denver as surely as the leaves from the trees will in a few short weeks. In addition to hometown heroes DeVotchKa playing a pair of Halloween shows at the Boulder Theater Oct. 31-Nov. 1 with locals Paper Bird and Bela Karoli, Denver’s Big Head Todd and the Monsters will perform on New Year’s Eve show at the Ogden Theatre. Celtic rockers Flogging Molly will also take over the Fillmore Auditorium Dec. 30-31. Tickets for the former shows are on sale today, with Flogging Molly on sale Saturday. AC/DC’s “Black Ice” tour kicks off next month in Pennsylvania and winds its way to the Pepsi Center on Nov. 25 — about a month after the band’s so-named new album hits stores. Tickets for AC/DC’s first world tour in seven years are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($93.50, Ticketmaster)
