When it comes to timely talks, it’s tough to beat the scheduling for Barry Reynolds’ Tuesday presentation to the Denver Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Just four days before the chapter-sponsored Pro-Am Carp Slam, Reynolds will talk about catching carp on the South Platte River where it flows through metro Denver, site of the competition.
Reynolds has landed carp up to 30 pounds from the river, which is rather what one would expect from the man whose book, “Carp on the Fly,” is a standard for the sport.
