The Boulder coroner has identified a 49-year-old bicyclist who was struck by a car and killed Friday as Matthew G. Powell.
Powell, a Boulder resident, died of multiple blunt force injuries, coroner Thomas J. Faure said in a release.
The accident happened near the intersection of 14th Street and Mapleton Avenue.
