It’s been years since a cup of coffee cost a dime, but $25,000?
That’s the price tag to sip a cup of Joe with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who is slated to arrive in Colorado next week. Republican John McCain’s running mate is holding a fundraiser Oct. 4 at Centennial Airport, where “VIP coffee” is $25,000 a person, according to the invitation.
Breakfast and a photo with Palin after morning coffee is $2,500 a person, and breakfast without a photo is $1,000.
Tom Kise, spokesman for the McCain campaign, said Palin does not have any public events scheduled in Colorado during the short visits.
