Obama supporters and volunteers across the state will come together to cheer on Senator Obama during the first presidential debate, scheduled to address foreign policy and national security. Surrogates or volunteers will be available at each location for comment. Governor Bill Ritter will attend the Pueblo watch party, Obama National Campaign Co-Chair Federico Peña and Command Sergeant Major Michelle Jones will be in Denver, and retired United States Air Force Colonel Richard Klass will be available in Colorado Springs. From the beginning, Senator Obama has displayed that he has the judgment and character to be the next President of the United States to keep America safe and secure.
