GOLDEN — A woman who burglarized homes and stole mail from at least 11 people in the Conifer area has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Sophie Rose Shafer, 19, of Pine, pleaded guilty to burglary last month, and the plea identified 11 victims, according to the Jefferson County district attorney’s office.
She was sentenced in Golden on Monday.
Shafer and her boyfriend, Michael John Pantera, 27, of Denver, were arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in late 2007 at a Wheat Ridge hotel.
