LINCOLN, Neb.—The Nebraska football team continued preparing for Saturday’s game against Kansas, which could be the Cornhuskers’ first cold-weather game of the year.

But Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says his team won’t change its game plan for the weather. He says cold weather is just part of the deal in November and both teams have to deal with it.

The high temperature predicted for Saturday is 41 degrees, and the game is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.

Pelini says offensive tackle Lydon Murtha is doubtful for Saturday’s game because of an injury, but receiver Menelik Holt will likely play.

The Huskers practiced inside in pads for about two hours Thursday.
