I am sick and tired of this half-baked management style of the Nuggets’ front office.
First, they trade away their 2008 draft picks, one of which could have yielded a future star in the making: Mario Chalmers, who is now the starting point guard for the Miami Heat.
Then they trade away future Hall of Fame candidate Allen Iverson, who has only averaged 27 points and six assists over his 13-year career. Compare that to Chauncey Billups, who has averaged 15 and five over his 12-year career. It was a silly, unwise, half-baked move that makes absolutely no sense, unless you believe in saving money.
Not to mention Iverson is never injured and generally leads the league in steals and minutes played each year.
Did I forget to mention that the Nuggets traded away Marcus Camby, who was the 2006 defensive player of the year, this year?
