DENVER—Denver police say they arrested a teenager suspected of killing a man for complaining about loud music.
Police say 19-year-old Ruben Sotelo is being investigated for first-degree murder in the shooting at a southwest Denver apartment complex. Police say it happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday after a tenant went to a third-floor landing and told a group of people there to quiet down. Police say one of the people chased the man for about 50 feet and shot him. The man later died at Denver Health Medical Center. Police have not released his name.
Denver police Lt. Ron Saunier says people should notify police about noise complaints and let officers do their jobs.
