LINCOLN, Neb.—Sek Henry scored 19 points, Ade Dagunduro 14 and Nebraska shot 59 percent from the field in a 71-57 victory over Saint Louis on Tuesday night.

Nebraska (4-0) took an early double-digit lead, then saw the Billikens (2-2) pull within 4 points before it took control in the second half.

Henry and Dagunduro combined to go 12-for-15 from the field. Steve Harley added 12 points.

Brian Conklin’s 18 points and six rebounds led Saint Louis, and Ruben Cotto had 10 points.

The Huskers, who shot 65 percent in the second half, held Saint Louis scoreless for more than six minutes and used a 9-0 run late in the game to seal the win.

Toney McRae’s basket with 15:37 left gave Nebraska a 48-36 lead. Saint Louis cut the lead to 54-47 on Tommie Liddell?s driving layup. Then the Huskers went on their decisive run.

Cookie Miller’s spinning jumper in the lane put the Huskers up 63-47 lead after back-to-back layups by Harley, the second a three-point play.

The Billikens, who shot just 38 percent with 16 turnovers in a win over Boston College on Saturday, made 42 percent from the field and committed 13 turnovers in their first road game.

None of the Huskers’ four wins have been by fewer than 12 points.
