AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Anwar Johnson scored 17 points as Air Force defeated Norfolk State 75-52 on Sunday to stop a two-game slide.
Air Force (4-2) shot a season-high 51.1 percent from the field and had a 37-25 rebounding edge over Norfolk State (1-3), which made 39 percent of its shots from the field.
The Falcons opened the second half with a 15-4 run to lead 53-24 with 14:24 remaining. Air Force went up 66-36 with 6:39 left in the game. Norfolk State never got closer than 20 points in the second half.
Michael DeLoach had 16 points to lead Norfolk State in scoring.

OMAHA — The Pioneers jumped to a 13-4 lead to start the game but couldn’t hold on at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in their first road game of the season.
The Blue Jays (2-3) took a 41-38 lead into halftime and never gave it up behind Chevelle Herring’s game-high 21 points.
Ashly Robinson led Denver (1-3) with 12 points.
