RTD and the Park Meadows shopping mall today plan to open a pedestrian bridge that will give Southeast light-rail riders direct access from the County Line station platform to the shopping center.
Up to now, rail riders have had to cross another pedestrian bridge over Interstate 25 from the County Line platform to the east side of the highway to catch shuttle buses destined for the mall. The Regional Transportation District will station a security guard near the new pedestrian bridge to ensure that those using the rail line there are also mall patrons.
