COLLBRAN, Colo.—A commercial hunting ranch quarantined after a contagious disease was found among wild hogs is now for sale.

The quarantine was imposed on Little Creek Ranch in Collbran in November when some feral hogs being trucked in tested positive for the virus pseudorabies. The disease was also found among hogs on the ranch and more than 70 of the animals were killed.

The quarantine was lifted Dec. 30.

Hayden Outdoors, a real estate company, has listed the ranch for sale at $5.7 million. Broker Eric West says ranch owner Alan Baier wants to retire.

Baier’s family has run the 760-acre exotic game ranch about 240 miles west of Denver for 40 years.
