DENVER — A woman indicted on charges that she falsely reported a bomb threat on an airplane will be on probation for three years.
Terrice Gay Hutchinson was accused of calling Southwest Airlines and telling employees there that her husband had just boarded a plane from Denver to Las Vegas with a bomb. A federal judge sentenced the 53-year-old from Denver on Friday. She was ordered not to drink alcohol as part of her probation.
Hutchinson was indicted in June on charges of providing false information and threats to aviation transportation. She pleaded guilty in October.
She faced up to five years in prison.
