BROOMFIELD — A memorial service will be Wednesday for a 13-year-old Broomfield girl whose body was found last week.
Kelsey Shannon was reported as a runaway in October. Her body was found in a drainage ditch Wednesday. Her 18-year-old boyfriend, Alexander Paul Pacheco, has been arrested in the case.
Shannon’s family will hold a service to celebrate her life at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Family in Christ Community Church, 11355 Sheridan Blvd., in Westminster.
