DENVER—McGraw-Hill Broadcasting has appointed Byron F. Grandy as vice president and general manager of KMGH-TV in Denver and its Spanish-language Azteca America affiliates in Denver and Colorado Springs.
McGraw-Hill Broadcasting said Friday that Grandy will be responsible for KMGH-TV’s strategic direction and its Web site and will oversee sales, operations and program content.
He will also oversee the operations of Azteca America Colorado.
The 47-year-old Grandy has been KMGH’s station manager since July. He joined McGraw-Hill Broadcasting as news director of KMGH in December 2000.
Previously, he worked for KMOL-TV in San Antonio, WAGT-TV in Augusta, Ga., stations in Milwaukee, Dallas and Bryan, Texas, and The Broadcast Image Group.
