Metro Denver has a 40 percent chance of snowfall tonight that could leave a half-inch of snow on local roads for the morning commute.

The the southwest mountains will see up to nine inches overnight, before another Pacific storm drops another six inches as far north as Aspen Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

The Palmer Divide and the Eastern Plains south of Limon could see up to two inches overnight, according to the forecast.

The metro region forecast has a slight chance of snow all week with highs in the 40s and 50s, but overnight lows in the teens and 20s.
