ARVADA, Colo.—Police in the Denver suburb of Arvada say an officer and a suspect suffered non-life-threatening injuries in an altercation after a traffic stop.
Authorities say the officer shot the suspect, but it’s not known how the officer was wounded.
Both have been hospitalized. Their names haven’t been released.
The altercation occurred at about 10 p.m. Monday.
Arvada police spokeswoman Susan Medina says the Jefferson County Incident Response Team is investigating.
