The Denver Hospice, the largest provider of end-of-life care in the Denver area, will benefit from the federal economic-stimulus bill to the tune of $800,000, its executives announced Wednesday.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, signed by President Barack Obama in Denver on Tuesday, postpones for one year Medicare cuts affecting hospice care that had been initiated under the Bush administration.
