WHEAT RIDGE, Colo.—Police have identified a suspect in the death of a woman who was run off a Wheat Ridge street and shot to death.
Police said Wednesday they’re looking for 36-year-old Tyler James Martin of Denver, who they said is the woman’s ex-boyfriend. Police say he remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Also Wednesday, authorities identified the victim as 34-year-old Amber Kathleen Cremeens of Denver.
Police spokeswoman Lisa Stigall says Cremeens was run off the road by another vehicle late Tuesday, and the other driver got out of his car and shot her.
Stigall says Cremeens dated Martin for about eight years, until mid-2008.
She says Martin has displayed “stalking behavior” toward Cremeens, and a search of his apartment turned up evidence that he knew her daily routine.
