A Colorado Springs man and four other people were arrested early this morning after police found more than 12 pounds of marijuana and other drugs worth an estimated $64,000 at a home.

Ronald Bruggeman, of 4337 N. Chestnut St., is accused of trafficking in “high grade” marijuana, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Members of the department’s tactical enforcement and K-9 units served a search warrant on Bruggeman’s home early this morning after narcotic detectives received a tip Thursday, police said.

Police seized 12 pounds of marijuana valued at $4,100 a pound, a pound of hashish, 32 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and a small amount of methamphetamine, among other drugs.

Bruggeman and four men from California were arrested during the raid on the home, police said.
