A 23-year-old man is suspected of being a busy burglar, hitting multiple homes in Boulder and Denver.
Adam Blackburn is accused of burglarizing three homes, within the span of a few hours, on Dec. 29 in southeast Boulder, according to Boulder police.
Two of the homes burgled in Boulder are on the same block of Huron Court and the third home is on the 5400 block of Omaha Place. Electronic equipment, DVDs, CDs, purses and jewelry were stolen from the homes.
Investigators believe Blackburn used a vehicle stolen in a Denver carjacking to commit the burglaries in Boulder.
Blackburn faces multiple criminal charges in Denver as well as Boulder. He was arrested Jan. 9 in the Denver cases and Boulder investigators linked recovered stolen items back to their city, Boulder police said.
Boulder police served a search warrant on Blackburn’s apartment and found additional stolen items, police said.
Last week the Denver District Attorney’s Office agreed to file charges against Blackburn on the Boulder burglaries as part of a joint case, Boulder police said.
Blackburn is being held in the Denver jail.
