The victim of a downtown Denver shooting remains in the hospital, and the suspect is in jail.
Kenneth Lee, 24, was shot at about 6:30 p.m. on March 16 on Broadway outside RTD’s Civic Center Station.
Jahi Mills, 19, was arrested and is being held at the Denver Jail as a suspect in the case.
The two were identified by Denver police today.
Police last week said a fight erupted among a large group of people near the bus station. One man pulled out a gun and fired multiple times, hitting the victim in the back.
The suspect fled, but police caught him in an alley between Emerson and Ogden streets.
The case has been presented to the Denver district attorney’s office for official filing of charges.
Attempted-murder charges could be filed against Mills among others, police said.
Details on Lee’s injuries were not available.
