
Police in Colorado Springs are looking for a 25-year-old woman who is a suspected of blasting a man in the face with a shotgun.
The shooting happened at about 5:30 a.m. Monday at a home in the 1500 block of Diana Lane, police said.
Police today identified Margo Eck as a suspect in the case. An arrest warrant for Eck on suspicion of attempted murder has been issued, according to the department’s crime blotter.
The 22-year-old victim, Dillion Mohrbutter, was taken to Memorial Hospital, where he underwent surgery. His injuries are not life-threatening, police said. Further details on his condition were not available.
Police recovered a shotgun at the scene, and several people at the home have been interviewed by investigators.
Eck is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and 125 pounds, according to police. She has blond hair and hazel eyes.
