DENVER—Businessman and attorney Daniel Kagan will be sworn in as the new state representative for House District 3, which covers south-central Denver and Cherry Hills Village.
Kagan will be sworn at 8:45 a.m. Monday by Colorado House Speaker Terrance Carroll in the House. He was selected to fill the vacancy when fellow Democrat Anne McGihon resigned March 27 to take a job with a national law firm.
The 56-year-old Kagan was a delegate at the Democratic National Convention in August in Denver.
