LINCOLN, Neb.—The Big 12 Conference has named Nebraska’s Mark Manning its wrestling coach of the year for the second season in a row.
Manning is in his ninth year with the Cornhuskers and is the winningest coach in the program’s history. Under his leadership, Nebraska accrued a 126-45-3 record in duals.
During the 2009 season, Manning led the Huskers to a 17-3-1 record in duals and the first Big 12 title since 1995. The team finished fourth at the NCAA Championships in St. Louis.
