Need some help organizing your wardrobe? Lloyd Boston is coming to your aid. In “Closet Cases,” a new series starting at 8 p.m. Monday on the Fine Living Network (Comcast digital channel 278 in the Denver area), fashion expert Boston helps both men and women sort through the good, the bad and the simply outdated or ill-fitting. Boston, who has written several style guides and toured the country for such companies as Jones New York, will share tips on shopping smart and building a wardrobe that works. The show’s website, , also has informational videos, slide shows of closet makeovers and a weekly poll. To get you started, here are a few of Boston’s tips:

• Buy the size that fits, not the size you think you are.

• Wake up your look with a pop of color, but avoid wearing head-to-toe brights.

• Learn to shop by item, not outfit.

• Ladies, skip the hosiery once in a while.

• Guys, carry your wallet in your bag or jacket, not your back pocket.

“Closet Cases” opens with back-to-back episodes at 8 and 8:30 p.m. Monday. To find out what channel the show airs on in your area, go to .
