Denver Center Attractions is bringing back the musical “Wicked,” one of its biggest hits.
The show, which gets its inspiration from the “Wizard of Oz,” will play at the Buell Theatre from October 7 through November 15. Tickets go on sale Sunday at 10am.
“Wicked,” with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, won multiple Tony awards during its long Broadway run. The road version has proved enduringly popular; the show broke box office records and sold out in record time during 2005 and 2007 stops in Denver.
