The FBI is looking for two armed men who terrorized bank employees and customers during four Colorado bank robberies.
The most recent robbery occurred about 1 p.m. Saturday at the US Bank branch at 801 W. 120th Ave. in Westminster.
During the robberies, usually one of the suspects goes behind the teller counter.
On Saturday, the pair fled in a red Jeep Cherokee that had been stolen in Thornton. The vehicle was recovered in Westminster after the robbery.
The men also are believed to have held up the TCF Bank at 8756 S. Yosemite St. in Lone Tree on Feb. 12; Chase Bank at 22860 E. Smoky Hill Road in Aurora on March 17; and Front Range Bank at 3594 S. Logan St. in Englewood on March 30.
The suspects are described as Latino or white males in their 20s.
The FBI is looking for a third man in connection with the Monday afternoon robbery of Denver Community Federal Credit Union at 1075 Acoma St.
The robber, who is bald and appears to be in his late 20s or early 30s, entered the bank at about 2 p.m. and presented a note to a teller demanding money. He did not show a weapon.
Anyone with information about the bank robberies is asked to call the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 720-913-7867.
