PHOENIX—The Colorado Rockies put left-hander Franklin Morales on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a strain in his pitching shoulder.
Morales was hurt while warming up in the third inning of the Rockies’ 9-6 victory over Arizona on Tuesday night.
Colorado added right-hander Matt Daley from Triple-A Colorado Springs and made room on the 40-man roster by moving righty Taylor Buchholz to the 60-day disabled list. Buchholz has a sprained ligament in his throwing elbow.
