WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — The woman who allegedly ordered her squabbling young daughters out of her car and drove off without them quickly returned to the scene expecting to pick them up, her lawyer said Friday.
Madlyn Primoff, 45, drove around the block in downtown White Plains, but the 10- and 12-year-old girls were gone when she returned, said defense attorney Vincent Bricetti. He said the older girl had begun walking home, 3 miles away.
Primoff, a partner in a Manhattan law firm, was arrested and charged with child endangerment.
